Choose a Mandarin Chinese language Course

from two weeks to one year

China International provides a minimum of two weeks through to one year Mandarin Chinese language courses for international students in small classes of five to ten students. Students are grouped into five classes: A, B, C, D and E, according to their respective proficiency levels upon admission. Level A is “Mandarin for Beginners”, levels B to E are gradually more advanced. A placement test will be conducted in advance. Students who have completed their Mandarin lessons and met the requirements of the colleges will be given certificates according to their categories.

Beijing Radio and Television University

Beijing Radio and Television University (BTVU) is an Adult Higher Education University under Beijing Municipal Education Commission. The Chinese Centre for Foreigners (CCF for short) is the special agency offering Chinese language and culture for foreign students as well as Hong Kong and Macao.
Established in 1995 and with a fine campus environment, the centre is equipped with modern facilities and is staffed by experienced teachers with pure Chinese Putonghua, so you will have the best support to learn Mandarin Chinese.

University of International Relations Beijing

University of International Relations (UIR) has a history of over 50 years. The University trains professionals of international relations and has academic training for bachelors degrees, masters degrees and doctorate degrees. The Institute attaches great importance to establishing corporate relationships with universities overseas. It combines language learning relevant to subjects such as science of law, international economics and trade, information management and information system, science of administration and management, English, Japanese and French. Every year, hundreds of students from different countries enrol in the university to study.

Choose the most appropriate programme for your needs:

Short-term Chinese language Course

• This programme is less than 3 months.
• Classes include writing, speaking and listening comprehension.
• This programme is specifically for international students of different levels, and emphasizes communicative skills in Mandarin Chinese speaking and listening.
• Focused communicative practice, which can be used in everyday life conversations.

Long-term Chinese language Course

• Long-term Chinese language course offers one-semester and one-year programmes, which run 20 hours per week.
• Students are provided with standard teaching and teacher emphasizes the development of grammar learning and communicative skills with classes in writing & listening comprehension.

Intensive Chinese language Course (12-week Programme)

• This programme will be taught 30 hours per week, 6 hours a day from Monday to Friday.
• Diversified intensive teaching approaches and rigorous teaching management are adopted.
• Organized activities are prepared for practicing Mandarin Chinese language skills in real-life situations.
• The programme is characterized by various language practice activities. Students are provided with plentiful and meaningful authentic settings to fulfil their communicative tasks.

One-semester / One year Chinese language Course

• The programme runs 20 hours per week, 4 hours a day from Monday to Friday.
• This programme is mainly designed for the beginner level and the intermediate level.
• Training results are comparable to those achieved after one year of general training.
• The programme is characterized by both intensity and efficiency, with its focus on learning Chinese language skills and pragmatic language use in communicative settings by providing plentiful practice within and outside the classroom.
• Various activities are organized for practicing language skills in authentic situations.

Personalized Mandarin Lessons

Our personalized Mandarin Language course is for:

• students who would like to improve their Mandarin Chinese language skills intensively
• students whose schedule does not fit into the other courses provided.

Students can personalise their programme by specifying:

• the duration of the course,
• the timing of Mandarin lessons
• the topics that correspond to their interest.

One-on-One Mandarin Chinese language Study

This refers to one student with one teacher. With more flexible timing and personal choice on courses, the student can benefit from the teacher’s detailed instruction and get more opportunity for listening and speaking. This is the most flexible way to organise your Mandarin lessons.
